Created to celebrate some of the most evocative cars and moments in Ferrari’s history, the Daytona SP3 takes its inspiration from the legendary sports prototypes of the 1960s and, in particular, Ferrari’s extraordinary 1-2-3 finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. The Daytona SP3 combines this rich motorsport heritage with some of Ferrari’s most advanced modern engineering. Its dramatic bodywork draws heavily upon Ferrari’s celebrated sports-racing prototypes, with its wraparound windscreen, sculpted front wings, prominent rear haunches and distinctive horizontal rear strakes creating one of the most striking Ferrari designs of the modern era. Beneath the bodywork sits a carbon-fibre monocoque, while the removable targa-style roof further emphasises the car’s connection to the open sports prototypes that inspired it.

At its heart is a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12, mounted in a mid-rear configuration and producing 840 cv at 9,250 rpm, with a maximum engine speed of 9,500 rpm. Power is delivered through Ferrari’s seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the Daytona SP3 to accelerate from 0–62 mph in just 2.85 seconds, reach 124 mph in 7.4 seconds and continue to a top speed in excess of 211 mph.

Production of the Daytona SP3 was limited to 599 examples, reinforcing its position among Ferrari’s most exclusive modern creations. More than simply a celebration of the marque’s past, the Daytona SP3 brings together Ferrari’s racing heritage, naturally aspirated V12 engineering and modern design in one of the most significant limited-production Ferraris of its generation.
