Created by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) to commemorate the marque’s legendary 1995 Le Mans victory, the 720S Le Mans is a limited production masterpiece blending cutting-edge performance with rich motorsport heritage. Just 50 examples were built globally, each equipped with bespoke features that honour the McLaren F1 GTR’s historic first place finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The 720S Le Mans features McLaren’s acclaimed 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing 710 bhp and accelerating from 0-60 mph in a blistering 2.8 seconds. But this edition is far more than just raw performance, it is a showcase of lightweight engineering, exclusivity and tribute styling.

Finished in the bespoke exterior pain finish of ‘Mansour Orange’, this example features the full Le Mans Package (LM Pack), including Ueno Grey-painted front bumper lower, side skirts and rear bumper. A roof-mounted snorkel that was inspired by the F1 GTR, feeds air directly into the engine bay, flanked by a polycarbonate rear screen. The visible carbon fibre body structure is complemented by the complete carbon fibre exterior upgrade packs 1, 2, and 3, which include: carbon fibre front splitter, rear diffuser, rear bumper, and side intakes, carbon fibre louvred front fenders, carbon fibre upper door panels, high-gloss carbon fibre diffuser and satin carbon fibre MSO-defined sill panels. A set of 5-spoke LM wheels, etched with “Le Mans” insignia, are finished in Stealth, concealing striking gold brake calipers; a nod to motorsport found only on this edition. The sports exhaust system delivers a sharper, more visceral soundtrack, while the Stealth Pack ensures every exterior detail is a subtle sophistication.

The interior reflects the brands racing pedigree and bespoke craftsmanship, trimmed in a bespoke grey Alcantara Le Mans theme. Touring-size racing seats, upholstered in carbon black Alcantara with ‘Daytona‘ style accents feature embroidered Le Mans logos on the headrests. A 12 o’clock marker in Volcano Orange decorates the Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, paired with MSO defined carbon fibre steering paddles and a carbon black Alcantara finish. Virtually every surface is carbon-enhanced, including carbon fibre seat backs, primary and secondary interior components, fascia vents (MSO-defined), satin carbon MSO sill panels and interior switchgear surrounds.

A harness bar with 6-point racing harnesses reinforces the car’s track credibility, while modern conveniences remain intact: a 12-speaker premium audio system, McLaren Track Telemetry with app and cameras, front & rear parking sensors, 360° parking assist, electric steering column, and a vehicle lift system all come standard. The interior is completed by branded floor mats with Le Mans logos and a Volcano Orange Le Mans dedication plate mounted on the door sills.

It is complete with its handbooks including the service/warranty supplement, battery charger, car cover, warning triangle, first aid kit and a dedicated history file.

With its race-derived enhancements, extensive carbon fibre specification, and meticulous attention to detail, the 720S Le Mans is a rolling tribute to one of McLaren’s greatest motorsport triumphs, a centrepiece for any serious McLaren collection.
