Limited to just 106 examples globally, the McLaren Speedtail is well-renowned for being the most aerodynamically advanced and technologically ambitious road car ever created by McLaren. As the spiritual successor to the legendary F1, it reimagines the hyper-GT category with a groundbreaking combination of performance, luxury, and elegance. Driven by a 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine its hybrid powertrain delivers a whopping 1,055 bhp, capable of reaching a top speed of 250 mph. Its teardrop-shaped carbon-fibre body, central driving position, and active aero design reflect an uncompromising pursuit of velocity and purity.
Each Speedtail was individually commissioned and tailor-built by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), however this example is the final Speedtail ever produced and it boasts a huge array of bespoke specifications. It features a one-off MSO commission of extraordinary depth and craftsmanship, combining cutting-edge materials with an obsessive attention to bespoke detail. The exterior is finished in ‘Mansour Orange‘ a custom MSO bespoke paint, gloss finished 1K weave visual carbon fibre (VCF) elements are extensively applied across the bodywork, including the contrast panels, engine cover, luggage bin, and tool kit cover – all crafted to reduce weight while delivering unmatched visual sophistication.
Highlighting McLaren’s innovation in materials science, the front badge is rendered in carbon TPT (Thin Ply Technology) with a Platinum inlay, a weaving method that layers ultra-thin carbon plies at 45° angles to create a distinctive marbled effect, usually reserved for high-end horology. This rare TPT finish also features in select interior “jewellery” elements, elevating both tactility and exclusivity. Rear McLaren and model badges are executed in solid Platinum, while exterior brightwork is completed in a brushed and polished dual finish, further distinguishing this Speedtail’s silhouette. The calipers are specified in a bespoke MSO colour with machined logos, complemented by gloss painted 10-spoke lightweight wheels and centre-lock nuts and a natural Titanium exhaust finisher completes the exterior’s technical allure.
Inside, the cabin is a study in elegance and restraint with a full aniline leather upholstery meticulously hand-stitched with bespoke detailing and quilted inserts, while the painted edge work and contrast stitching echo the exterior’s custom palette. The seating position is flanked by a centre-mounted carbon black Alcantara driver’s seat and carbon fibre passenger pods, delivering a distinctly asymmetric composition. Interior surfaces feature satin-finished 1K weave visual carbon fibre (VCF), contrasted by bespoke brightwork in Zircon and brushed dark orange tones. Sill plates are backlit and micro-perforated, while the dedication plate carries personalised wording, a subtle nod to the unique provenance of this particular Speedtail with final touches including the MSO branded throttle pedal and DNR bezel.
It comes with its handbooks including the service/warranty supplement, spare key, HV charger, car cover and history file.
The Speedtail is the fastest road car McLaren has ever built and considered McLaren’s most ambitious Grand Tourer ever created.
