The McLaren Sabre is a rare and extreme hypercar developed specifically for the U.S market by McLaren Special Operations (MSO).

Only 16 examples were made, making it one of the most exclusive McLarens ever.

Developed as a bespoke derivative of the Senna, it also incorporates design and aerodynamic influences from the Speedtail. It is driven by a 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates 824 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque, the highest output ever achieved by a non-hybrid McLaren. Capable of reaching a top speed of 218 mph, it is the fastest two-seat McLaren road car ever produced. Engineered with cutting-edge aerodynamics, the Sabre incorporates an active rear wing and aggressive front aero elements to maximise downforce and ensure exceptional high-speed stability. Its lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque chassis provides exceptional rigidity while keeping mass to a minimum. Each Sabre was meticulously handcrafted in collaboration with its owner, resulting in fully bespoke specifications.

This particular example features a bespoke ‘Mansour’ inspired specification, showcasing an exterior finished with gloss Mansour Orange pinstripes set against gloss visual carbon fibre contrast panels. Additional highlights include electroform McLaren badges, gloss black and diamond-milled 7-spoke wheels, black brake calipers with silver logos, gloss Mansour Orange centre lock nuts, stealth-finished Inconel exhaust, and gloss carbon fibre aerodynamic pods, all combining to create a visually striking and performance-oriented aesthetic.

Inside, the cabin is tailored with super-lightweight carbon fibre racing seats, trimmed in carbon black Alcantara with Volcano Orange perforation and matching micro-piping. The steering wheel is also wrapped in carbon black Alcantara with a Volcano Orange micro-piped centre band. The interior is further enhanced with satin visual carbon fibre trim, brushed dark orange brightwork, Mansour Orange door struts, and MSO laser-etched logos on both the DNR lower bezel and throttle pedal. Premium amenities include the Bowers & Wilkins 7-speaker audio system, McLaren Track Telemetry (MTT) with three onboard cameras, a central tunnel featuring an integrated armrest and cup holder, and a Sabre badge elegantly mounted on the fascia to complete its bespoke design.

It comes with its handbooks including the service/warranty supplement, spare key, charger, car cover and history file.

Bridging the gap between track performance and everyday road compliance, the Sabre redefines the limits of an ultra-exclusive, limited-run hypercar, and with its stunning looks and rarity, it’s a certain ‘Best of Show‘ winner at a Concours event in a ‘few decades’ time.
