Unveiled in 2018 as part of McLaren’s Ultimate Series, the Senna represents the most extreme, uncompromising interpretation of a track-focused hypercar McLaren has ever produced. Named in tribute to legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna, it channels McLaren’s motorsport heritage into a road-legal machine engineered purely for lap time and driver engagement.

Limited to just 500 Coupes worldwide, the Senna was conceived not to be beautiful, but purposeful, stripping away every comfort and visual flourish in pursuit of downforce, agility, and power-to-weight supremacy. At its heart lies a 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing 789 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, propelling the car from 0–62 mph in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph. Built around McLaren’s carbon fibre Monocage III chassis and paired with an advanced active suspension system and aggressive aerodynamics, it delivers over 800 kg of downforce at speed, more than double that of the P1.

Its specification was inspired by and dedicated to Ayrton Senna, the man which the car was named after and someone who Mansour was very close with. It is one of only two cars within the collection that was not built in Mansour’s unique colour.

It is finished in a bespoke MSO gloss visual carbon fibre body, an ultra rare and labour intensive specification that showcases McLaren’s mastery of material and form. Complemented by MSO painted front aero blades, bespoke brake calipers and colour matched centre-lock nuts, the visual specification is both cohesive and menacing. MSO branding on the rear wing endplates and painted door struts add further exclusive touches, while the lightweight Gorilla glass upper and lower door panels enhance visibility and reinforce the car’s commitment to weight reduction.

Inside, the cabin is a continuation of the Senna’s design language, stripped to its competitive core, with an MSO bespoke interior trim, embroidered headrests and black 6-point harnesses. In addition the satin carbon fibre sill panels frame a minimalistic interior with the optional Bowers & Wilkins 7-speaker audio system fitted along with the full McLaren Track Telemetry suite with app integration and onboard cameras.

It comes with its handbooks including the service/warranty supplement, MSO key set finished in visual carbon fibre, battery charger, dual MSO dedication plates and history file.

As the last example built, this MSO commissioned car is not only a technological statement but a milestone in McLaren’s modern era destined for long-term collectability and reverence among discerning enthusiasts.
