Unveiled in November 2008 to commemorate Ferrari’s record-breaking 16th Formula 1 Constructors’ title, won that year by the Ferrari F1 Team with Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa, the 430 Scuderia Spider 16M represents the ultimate evolution of the F430 series, a pure expression of Ferrari’s race-bred engineering fused with the exhilaration of open-air driving.

Ferrari presented the Scuderia Spider 16M as a very limited, “special series” of 499 cars offered only to a curated list of clients, in Ferrari’s words, “dedicated to the most passionate clients, who recognise its virtue and its exclusivity.” Of these, only a handful were allocated to the UK market, highlighting just how rare and exclusive the 16M was for British collectors from the outset.

Powered by the naturally aspirated 4.3-litre V8 producing 503 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 470 Nm of torque, the 16M delivers exceptional performance with one of the most evocative soundtracks ever engineered by Maranello. Weighing just 1,340 kg dry, around 80 kg lighter than the F430 Spider, it is capable of 0–62 mph in 3.7 seconds and a top speed approaching 200 mph. The lightning-quick F1-SuperFast2 gearbox delivers 60-millisecond shifts, while carbon-ceramic brakes, the E-Diff and F1-Trac traction system ensure razor-sharp precision.

Visually, the 16M distinguishes itself through extensive use of carbon fibre, bumpers, mirrors, side skirts and roll hoops, alongside lightweight forged wheels and the signature “Scuderia Spider 16M” script along the flanks. Inside, the stripped-back cockpit combines carbon fibre and Alcantara with racing harnesses, a bespoke numbered plaque, and the limited-edition build plate celebrating Ferrari’s 16th title. Each example was also fitted with Ferrari’s advanced Bose media and Bluetooth system, blending comfort and modernity with pure motorsport DNA.

This exceptionally rare, single-owner example of the 16M was delivered new with the following optional extras: carbon fibre exterior package, tricolour livery stripe, carbon fibre racing seats, radio navigation system with Bluetooth and grigio stitching.
