The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition Coupe was a very limited production example of just 150 units worldwide, launched to commemorate Sir Stirling Moss’s Mille Miglia victory of 1955 in the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, car number 722.
The key features of this very rare and attractive motorcar include an upgraded 5.4-litre V8 engine producing approximately 641 bhp, with a bespoke ECU designed by McLaren MSO. The car’s weight was also reduced by some 44 kg, along with a lower ride height and upgraded suspension. Modified bodywork to the front splitter, rear diffuser and front air dam, which are complemented by upgraded 19“ lightweight alloy wheels and carbon ceramic brakes. Further exterior enhancements are ‘722’ badging and black tinted headlamps and tail lamps. Finally, interior features included carbon fibre trims, Alcantara to seating, sports steering wheel and ‘722’ badging in red.
Our single owner SLR McLaren 722 Edition was built to GCC specification and commissioned with the following factory options and features that include: exclusive leather trim, sports package, extra large sport seats, audio 30 APS, CD changer, mobile phone installation kit, fire extinguisher and garage door opener.
Presented in exceptional condition throughout and offered complete with its original handbooks including the service/warranty supplement and leather pouch.
